Zero Waste Day Out: July 26th at Phoenix Park

A very small and socially distanced Zero Waste Day Out, our first one after the restrictions! The event will start at 1pm on Sunday, July 26th at Bandstand, Phoenix Park and will continue on until 4pm. We hope to see you all there!

Bike Maintenance Workshop

This is a bicycle maintenance workshop focusing on the everyday checks and adjustments needed to keep a bike running safely and smoothly, with an emphasis on making the most environmental choices. Keeping a bike in ideal condition can mean a couple minutes of maintenance bi-weekly, so keep this in mind when considering if this workshop is for you.

No Contact Swap Shop

The swapshop will be in 2 parts, you can upload your items on our Facebook event, and pick items uploaded by other people by commenting on their post. The Sunday of the event, July 26th, you will drop off the items of yours that were reserved, and pick up what you asked other people for at the specified times in the schedule!

These times are:

In order to get take part in the Swap Shop:

  1. Attend our Facebook Event
  2. Upload your items to the event by:
    • Make one post adding individual photos of up to 10 items.
    • Number the items in the order you have uploaded them, and add a description for each including the size and level of wear (see example post on our Facebook event)
  3. Browse the other posts and comment to pick the garments (give the numbers) you would like to request.
  4. No later than Wednesday July 22nd pop the items of yours that were requested in bags (seperate bags for each different person) and label them with the person’s name. This ensures that the item has not been handled 72 hours prior to the pick-up to help in reducing chances of transmission if any.
  5. On Sunday July 26th, from 1-2pm drop off the bags on the blanket provided in the correct section (it will be arranged in alphabetical order) and from 2-4pm collect the bags of clothes you requested from other people
